This yarn is so soft!

I made a hat out of super bulky weight merino from Malabrigo. This is Malabrigo Caracol. Great ebay find. Lots of texture and the merino is incredibly soft.

Hats, so many hats

I guess I am the kind of person who likes short term projects. I've been making hats lately. These hats go quickly because I am also using bulky or super bulky yarn.

I thought we were on a break!

Kind of sick of the mugs, so I am taking a break. I gave a lot of them away at Christmas and that was fun, and lightened the load literally and psychologically. You just don't want to have so many boxed up, waiting for a home.

I've been making mugs

I am making mugs - 200 of them. I take a photo of each one and put it on Tumblr.

Where did it go?

Somehow, my blog disappeared and the address had been taken over by a domain for sale site. Hmmmm.

Lesson learned: if you don't visit your blog and post something once in a while, things can go south!

Some of the companies that made the counters and other scripts I was using on my page went out of business, and they were sending out overriding notices and redirecting from my page. After I removed them from the page framework, my blog looked normal again.
