My cousin Karen has been encouraging me to make some ATCs, or Artist Trading Cards. I finally got started late Friday night. I used a glossy white paper, added alcohol inks and metallic ink, then oversprayed those with alcohol to smoodge them around a little bit. I love that technique for coloring paper, and how it makes a mottled, veined surface. I stamped a girls head in red ink on iridescent white paper, cut it into a square, then edged it with a black ink. I added two favorite images, a mournful cupid and a palmistry book, in black. Lastly, I added a different fortune to each card. I am happy with them.
Now, I have a few cards to trade!
