I knitted these baby rattles for friends and family who are expecting this summer. I knit a circular bottom, ribbed the sides, attached a different color, and added a picot edging. To finish it off, I cut down a yogurt container and put it inside the bottom to hold the shape, added a cat toy jingley ball, stuffed with fiberfill, then decreased the rounds of knitting until I could close it off. The sprinkles are self-striping yarn worked in with a tapestry needle.
