Wool Facts


Did you know that over its lifetime, a single sheep will produce enough wool to make 12 sweaters?

Look at these sheep. Ask yourself, "How much wool does it take to make a sweater?" The lifespan of a sheep is 8-13 years, according to the University of Tennessee. So would one shearing make one sweater, or maybe one sweater and a pair of mittens?
