W is for Wild Thing at the Window

Alcohol and drips of green and blue ink on glossy stock made this clean fresh background. I smacked a copper painty pen over a wooden dowel to get the splatters of copper paint.

I put a post it note down on the card to block the bottom of the wild thing stamp. Then I stamped the wild thing on the card, and again on another post it. I cut out the post it image, and masked the wild thing on the card. Then I stamped the window over it all.

I embossed the W and the Wild Thing title with Cobalt Tapestry EP from PSX. The Wild Thing stamp came from Kidstamps.

What an incredible idea! I love this alphabet series and your fun and whimsical approach. I actually liked this one best because I love how you did the background!

Beautiful job with the Wild Thing coming through the window! I love this card, esp. since my son is named after Max in the book. Thanks for the link to the stamp - I didn't know they made them!
